I used to go to the Maryland Renaissance festivals.. eatin big ass turkey legs, watching sword and fire swallowers. I have a picture of me being knighted by Merlin (if that makes any sense) when I was about 9 or 10. I always wanted to get one of the big ass two handed broadswords but alas, I settled for a wooden shield and matching blade. Maybe we should get some peeps together and go check it out. I forget when it comes around but it may be in August.

Matt has been officially AWOL for 2 weeks. I wish we knew his address so we could randomly, out of the blue show up at his doorstep and ask him, "dude. what the fuck". I guess he's doing something crazy interesting that he can't spare two seconds to call his friends. Or mabye he's been captured and is being held captive at the bottom of a pit a la a gender reversed Silence of the Lambs.

Maine is a nice place to visit. Last time I was up there was one summer with the Flower family. Dan came down, twas a grand ole time. and then abby went completely insane. I wonder what happened to that nutjob.

Saw 28 days later this weekend. Pretty good. Not the scariest movie in the world and most of the moments that I would consider scary were me being startled. Definitely worth a peep. You know, I wish i had a camera. A steady pounding rain just concluded and left a pale yellow sheen on everything. Bizzare and also very 28DL like. In fact I see the tufts of an apartment tower peeks from behind trees like a mischevious child hiding from a flesh eating man-beast. A single window lit. Safety. Salvation. Fresh rotting corpses.
