Yeah, so I haven't posted in a while but now is good time.
I just had a fitness breakthrough.. The last time I was EVER able to run a decent distance was when I was rowing and even THEN i wasnt really able. I was more of a short distance, fast twitch type mug. But I just ran for about 45 minutes, from River house to Gravely point and back without stopping. My guess is at least three miles, I have no idea. All I know is that I got to where I stopped only three days ago and kept on going. Just like a machine. No pain in my anterior tibialis, just some tightness in my calves probably due to deficient stretching.. but once I got going, got my heart to a steady pace about about 170-175, there was no stopping me.. and even with those moderate hills towards the end of the run I just powered through. Awesome. I love it.. most likely due to a couple things: Loss of weight, about 20lbs, and training on the exercise bike to get my cardio conditioning up. Seems to have worked. Love it
